Bachelor of Laws (LLB) 2015/2016

The forthcoming national review of the LLB programme will comprise a threshold standard on the basis of which programmes leading to the LLB qualification will be evaluated. Thus, the review will be conducted using the LLB Qualification Standards and Programme Accreditation Criteria. The CHE has, through the participation of the LLB National Review Reference Group, has been developing a National Review Manual and institutional Self Evaluation Report (SER) Template for the LLB national review.

Time Lines of LLB Project:

•Submission of SERs – 14 May 2016

•Desktop evaluation – June /July 2016

•Site visits – September – November 2016

•HEQC approves reports – 10 March 2017

COMPLETED PROJECT:

The national review of the Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) programme is the first national review (NR) project to go online.

The National Reviews Online system supports the process of programme re-accreditation as per the Framework for the National Review of Programmes.
